CHIRPS of laughter and a look of playfulness lit up on the faces
of children at the Kiwanis Downs Syndrome Foundation (KDSF) recently
when officers from Malaysia Airlines (MAS) visited them.
Spending hours with the tots, the entourage, comprising the
organising committee of the national carrier's Journey of Dreams
Charity Gala Nite, were also given the opportunity to learn more
about KDSF's activities.

Led by committee chairman Datuk
Capt. Mohd Nawawi Awang, the event was a follow-up to the event held
on July 21 at the Putrajaya International Conven-tion Centre to
raise funds for six deserving welfare organisations.
Aside from KDSF, the other beneficiaries were the Malaysian
Association for the Blind (MAB), Yayasan Budi Penyayang, National
Cancer Council (Makna), Sabah Child Welfare Association and the
Sarawak Association for the Welfare of Intellectually Disabled
Children.

the team to the MAB recently, where they were briefed on the
developments and activities of the organisation.
