|
Besides training our children the different developmental skills like gross motor skills, fine motor skills, cognitive skills, self help skills and social skills, we also introduce the different cultural events of Malaysia to the children.
On the 16th of January, in conjunction of the Chinese New Year celebration, Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation-National Centre organised a pre-celebration of the festival to introduce to the kids about the traditions and practices of the Chinese community before the year of the Dragon begins on the 23rd of January. Trampoline for Health, Exercise and Safety |
What links David Beckham, NASA astronauts, and next door's kids? Simple: the answer is trampolining.
David Beckham was seen training on a mini trampoline in preparation for the 2002 World Cup: knowing that this highly effective exercise method would keep him fit, protect his joints and even improve his co-ordination.
NASA trains its astronauts using rebounders too: quick efficient exercise which gives a sense of weightlessness provides a great exercise routine for people whose next stop is outer space
And next door's kids? Well they just think it's great fun and can bounce for hours on end, whilst their parents know that trampolining is keeping them fit, bright and active.
